This page explains the basic ground rules for using the Vocal Range Test in a way that is safe, respectful and realistic.
The Vocal Range Test is a small tool for singers and voice‑curious people to explore their range. It is not a medical device, a clinical diagnostic tool, or a replacement for a qualified teacher. The numbers and labels you see here are approximations meant to help you understand your voice in plain language. Voices change from day to day; your results will always be a snapshot, not a permanent certificate of your abilities.
By accessing this site, running a test, or otherwise using the Vocal Range Test, you agree to these Terms of Service as well as our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree with these documents, please do not use the site.
You are welcome to use the Vocal Range Test for personal practice, learning and friendly sharing. In return, we ask that you do not: 1) use the site in ways that break applicable laws or local regulations; 2) use screenshots or results to harass, bully or shame other people; 3) attempt to overload, reverse‑engineer, or otherwise interfere with the site’s infrastructure; 4) misrepresent this tool as providing medical advice or professional certification. We reserve the right to change, pause or discontinue the service at any time.
We try hard to keep as much processing as possible inside your browser and to avoid storing more data than we need. Our Privacy Policy explains in detail what kinds of technical logs may be collected, how long they are kept, and how we use them to keep the site healthy. If we ever change how we handle data in a significant way, we will update that policy and highlight the changes.
As far as the law allows, the team behind the Vocal Range Test is not liable for any direct or indirect damage that arises from using or being unable to use the site – including but not limited to audition outcomes, rehearsal decisions, equipment failures, or conflicts with third parties. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. If you plan to change your training, repertoire or vocal technique in a big way based on these results, we strongly recommend doing so together with a qualified teacher or coach.
We may update these Terms of Service as the project grows or as laws change. If you continue using the Vocal Range Test after a change goes live, we will treat that as acceptance of the updated terms.
